On the banks of the Guadalupe River, Gruene is part of the area affectionately known as the Hill Country Coast. Teeming with life, our stretch of the Guad is ideal for tubing, fly fishing, canoeing, and just peacefully watching the world go by.

The largest river outfitter servicing both Guadalupe and Comal Rivers year-round since 1979. FLY FISHING

Our local Guadalupe River is the southern most trout stream in the Northern Hemisphere! With a little guidance, gear, and a full tummy, you can fish for Rainbow Trout or other native warm water species year around. In the event you come back from your fishing trip hungry and empty-handed, Gruene has you covered there too.
