KNBT Friday Afternoon Club

A Gruene Hall tradition, the Friday Afternoon Club is now in its 23rd year! The place where hipsters and oldsters, locals and drifters mix it up to start their weekend off right! This quintessential Friday happy hour celebrates the warmer weather with special beer prices, prize giveaways and the best in Texas tunes.
Broadcast live by KNBT 92.1 FM Radio New Braunfels, there's even a very special guest interview each week. Some that have stopped by for a chat include Ray Benson, Steve Earle, Delbert McClinton, Radney Foster, Hayes Carll and Ray Wylie Hubbard. How do you join the Club? Ramble in, just as you are!
Enjoy a leisurely or competitive run through Gruene Historic District. Post-race music at Gruene Hall with food and beer provided to all participants. Gospel Brunch with a Texas Twist
In the tradition of a New Orleans-style gospel brunch, we are serving up awe-inspiring gospel music coupled with a mouth-watering buffet catered by Gristmill River Restaurant & Bar. Come and Taste It
On the third Thursday of each month (except January), come to The Grapevine and taste some of Texas' best wines and craft beer straight from the winemakers and brewers.

Celebrate Texas Wine Month at The Grapevine in Gruene! Each week in October, this free event will feature up to 3 different Texas wineries offering complimentary tastings, plus live music and giveaways! Proceeds from featured wine selections at The Grapevine will benefit United Way of Comal County all month long.

13th Annual Gruene Turkey Trot
5K Run/Walk & 1/4 Mile Kids' Turkey Chase
To fulfill their mission and continue to support Blue and Green Santa, Comal Cops for Kids Foundation is hosting a virtual event that is a "Run-It-Yourself" race which can be run or walked anytime between November 23rd-November 27th. The race can be completed anywhere so you get to choose your own course. With your registration, you will receive a t-shirt and special CCFK face mask which will be mailed to you.
