Let us make this clear, You CAN DRINK on the Guadalupe and Comal Rivers (according to state law).
whatever you'd like - including, but not limited to, beer, wine, any other alcoholic beverage, juice,
sports drinks, and
even that stuff you found dripping from the ceiling above your kitchen
if you want.
All we require is, that you drink alcohol responsibly and that you drink all beverages from a
container if you're INSIDE THE CITY LIMITS**. There are tons of options
for non-disposable containers.
The same requirement applies for the food you bring on the river inside the City Limits.
** For reference, the City Limits begin at the Gruene Bridge on the Guadalupe and includes the entire Comal River.
