KNBT Friday Afternoon Club
A Gruene Hall tradition, now in its 19th year, where hipsters, oldsters, suits, locals and drifters mix it up to start their weekend rite (pun intended!) This quintessential Friday happy hour celebrates the warmer weather with great beer prices, prize giveaways and the best in Texas tunes broadcast live by KNBT 92.1 FM Radio New Braunfels. There’s even a very special guest interview each week. Some that have stopped by for a chat have included Ray Benson, Steve Earle, Delbert McClinton, Radney Foster, Hayes Carll and Ray Wylie Hubbard. Good times!

Gospel Brunch with a Texas Twist at Gruene Hall

Come and Taste It
Sample Texas’ best wines and craft brews at The Grapevine in Gruene Historic District. On the third Thursday of each month throughout the year (except January), a featured winemaker showcases three of their newest released, top-selling or hardest to find wines, alongside a craft brew hand-picked by The Grapevine staff. The complimentary tastings are held on the patio and garden of this popular tasting room. Samples of food that is offered for sale will be provided, and each event features live music and three prize giveaways. This is a great opportunity to learn directly from the winery and The Grapevine staff, engage with other visitors interested in wine and beer and enjoy the natural surroundings and all the other offerings of Gruene Historic District. 31st Annual Gruene Music & Wine Fest
This Americana event benefiting the United Way of Comal County features the best in live Texas music and the best in Texas food and wines at Gruene Hall and The Grapevine. 9th Annual Gruene Turkey Trot - 5K Run/Walk and 1/4 Mile Kids' Turkey Chase
Registration begins at 6:30am
Fun for the whole family! Start your Thanksgiving Day with an exhilarating 5K run/walk through Gruene Historic District. Kids under 12 years old will have a blast chasing a Turkey Mascot for a 1/4 mile through Gruene. Races begin and end in front of Gruene Hall. Benefiting local charities, including the Comal County Sheriff's Green Santa Program and the New Braunfels Police Department Blue Santa Program.
